Want to learn to paraglide with the best - Come to FlySpain in Andalucia
We're just back and rested from our adventures over this last summer. We kicked off a great weeks beginner tuition and a Mentor plus guided week with tremendous results
Our beginner's elementary paragliding course could not have gone better. We had a big group with a lot of heart. A real mix of guys girls, plumbers foresters, sparkies, and airline pilots. One of the things that I love about our sport is that regardless of background or gender all come together with an interest in flying.
The week started off like summer almost super hot, but thankfully we were blessed with some cool cloudy mornings with light winds that allowed us to tuck into those first awkward steps to first flights.
We spent a lot of time working on ground school basics, canopy control for both forward and reverse launching. In fact most afternoons following a busy morning flying we put some solid ground handling in either at our private training site or at Bornos lake.
The improvement over the week was astonishing. We had four instructors on hand up to 9 mini wings to play with if the wind was too strong for our normal gliders so in fact, no minute of the day or week went to waste.
Our team of instructors were on hand to help every step of the way making sure no one got left behind and all achieved, education as it should and learning to fly in a fun and safe fashion.
None of the group had met before but talk on the last night was the return visit on mass, well that is apart for the three that are embarking on their club pilot training this week.
We run beginners courses up until December and on through January to July, if you like to try our beginner's course then get in contact, they are the ideal activity holiday in Spain with the largest BHPA school in Europe. You can find our Calendar dates for courses here
