First thermalling week of Spring
Its sunny in Spain
From long winter to summer in the space of a fortnight. A fresh group of regulars and new pilots turned up to some good thermalling. We started with a good warm up at Ronda la Vieja, everyone having a good stab at getting up to cloudbase. The second day saw some strong easterly that kept all the visitors on the deck. Tuesday saw everyone flying for a couple of hours in wickedly smooth valley restitution and a sunset flight. Wednesday, with wind on the forecast the gang headed to Granada to fly at Cenes and were rewarded with some excellent thermalling and three flights with a top view of the ski resort behind.
Last day finale
The last day saw the lads get a cheeky early bit of soaring of the mountain before it got to windy, much to the envy of other visiting pilots. Well done all and congratulation to Chris Webb on his long overdue hill conversion. If you´d like any more information of guided holidays please look at our pages here.
