The village and eating out

The area you will be visiting is, in our opinion, one of the finest and most beautiful regions in all of Southern Spain. The area is steeped in history as well as the stunning countryside. The village of Algodonales boasts plenty of tapas bars and food and drink is incredibly cheap by comparison to the UK. Breakfast is available in the square if you wish, or feel free to shop and eat in the house. We sometimes stop for lunch at a local bar or stop at a shop and pick up sandwiches depending on the weather. For evening meals you can either shop in the village and cook in the house or go down to the bars on the square.

As for cash you can use all debit cards in the village cash machines but quite often there is a limit to how much one can draw in a day unless you have a prior arrangement with your bank. Some bars take card payments but not all.

Outstanding balance

We require your balance to be paid in full on your arrival, pounds, euros or card. Card payments over 1000 euros are subject to a 2% bank charge.

Cancellations

Deposits are non-refundable (as places are limited)  but we will try and move your booking to another time if possible. Last minute cancellations of 28 days or less will mean that you will be liable to the full week's fee.
